PASEC2019 – Education system performance in Cameroun anglophone : competences and learning factors in primary education

Fourteen countries participated in the international PASEC2019 assessment: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Congo, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

This assessment measured pupils’ level of proficiency at the beginning and end of primary school, in the language of instruction and in mathematics. It also analysed the factors associated with the performance of the education systems of the countries evaluated, collecting contextual data from students, teachers and principals, through questionnaires.

This report presents the national results of the PASEC2019 evaluation in Cameroon.
